The Viewfinder exhibition examined the connection between contemporary photography and the mechanics of the camera through such categories as Frame, Focus, Exposure, Parallax, Cameraless, and Voyeur. The show featured artists: Uta Barth, Sharon Lockhart, Kori Newkirk, Josiah McElheny, Wolfgang Tillmans and others. The 48-page catalog presented works in a clean, spare setting to draw the reader into the images.

* Please note that the identity for the Viewfinder exhibition was developed prior to -- and without knowledge of -- Design Life Now: National Design Triennial at the Cooper-Hewitt. The similarities were just a peculiar coincidence.
